JANS & White Pine Touring Present: 2012 AIARE Avalanche Awareness Lecture

Join IFMGA certified mountain guides and AIARE instructors, Jonathan Spitzer and Freddy Grossniklaus, as they presents a FREE AIARE (American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education) Avalanche Awareness lecture. The AIARE Avalanche Awareness Lecture is designed to give potential backcountry travelers a base of knowledge to build upon and current backcountry travelers a refresher. All aspiring backcountry travelers should also complete a level 1 avalanche course prior to heading into the backcountry, but the Avalanche Awareness Lecture will give you a great head start.

Please feel free to submit questions during the lecture and we'll do our best to answer them live. If we do not answer your question please email us at cs@jans.com and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
